How To: Party Decorations

*Tissue Paper Poms*

Supplies:
5-7 packs of assorted colored tissue paper (Use more or less depending on how many and how big you want them to be)

Scissors

String (Ribbon, twine and/or fishing line)

Pencil

Ruler

Tape or Stapler (optional)

First lay out 4-6 sheets of tissue. Making sure they are all aligned and even.
(you can also alternate colors ie: pink, brown, pink, brown)

Fold in half. Vertical for smaller and fuller pom or horizontal for larger fluffier pom.

Begin an accordion fold about an inch till you get to the end.

Find the center, cut your ribbon and tie around with a loop so you have a place to attach a string for hanging.
(use a piece of tape to secure the ribbon in place)

Draw a curved or pointed edge. Then cut it out with your scissors.

Fan out and begin to gently pull each piece up and towards the center.
Continue doing the same on the bottom. Attache ribbon or string.

Now it's ready for hanging!
